FreePunk BitTorrent Tracker

This tracker has been set up as free service for the community. It allows bands to distribute music without the overhead of buying CDs or having vinyl pressed. Distributing music online for free breaks the chains of corporate control, treating music not as a commodity to be bought and sold but as a piece of our unique cultural heritage that should be shared.

Bands do need to eat and cover costs. Go to shows and give these bands your money. They may have something to give you in return, but that is a secondary concern. The music they've composed is precious, unique to this time and place. They need your support to continue to enrich your life.

With that said, let's review some BitTorrent etiquette. It's punk to seed your torrents. To seed, simply leave the torrent running after you've finished downloading the files. Please seed for as long as you possibly can. The more seeders there are per torrent, the faster these files will download for everyone. These torrents will always be available as they are being permanently seeded via Nick Biddle's basement.
